Conference aims

This inaugural TAFE Queensland Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) one-day conference is focused on showcasing SOTL and aims to:

1. enable and encourage a research culture at TAFE Queensland
2. showcase and share scholarship activities happening at TAFE Queensland
3. provide a cross-disciplinary scholarship and professional development opportunity
4. build a faculty learning community and facilitate creative collaborations
5. exhibit the talent and creativity of conference participants
6. publish a conference proceedings that includes submitted abstracts

Participants

The 2023 SOTL conference will be open to all TQ employees and students from across the regions. This open invitation will enable a space for VET and Higher Education educators, TQ professional staff and students to collaborate, share and showcase their work. Participation is voluntary and regional participation is encouraged via a virtual link. Offering regional participants the opportunity to remote access the SOTL conference will allow for regional participants to view the keynote presentations, participate as a presenter or view the presentations.
