TAFE Queensland School Holiday Workshops give high school students the opportunity to explore study areas and careers through hands‑on, on‑campus experiences during the school holidays. Ticket sales close at 11.30pm (AEST) Tuesday 16 June 2026, or earlier if workshops sell out. You must register with the student’s details within this timeframe or you will be unable to attend the workshop.
Collection Notice
TAFE Queensland is collecting personal information for the purpose of managing the TAFE Queensland School Holiday Workshops. Students under 18 years of age must have consent from their parent or legal guardian to participate.
Personal Information
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). In providing your personal information (including sensitive information), you consent to your personal information being used and/or disclosed for this purpose.
Your personal information will be used for this purpose by staff employed by, or on behalf of TAFE Queensland and will not be disclosed to any other party unless you consent to this disclosure or the disclosure is otherwise outlined in the TAFE Queensland Privacy Policy or permitted or required by law. Your information will be stored securely.
If you do not provide your personal information, or provide information anonymously or under a pseudonym, it may impact on TAFE Queensland's capacity to have you participate in the School Holiday Workshops.
If you wish to access or correct any of your personal information, discuss how it has been managed, or have a concern or complaint about the way your personal information has been collected, used, stored, or disclosed, please contact the TAFE Queensland Privacy Officer at privacy@tafeqld.edu.au.
Behaviour and Safety Expectations
When attending a TAFE Queensland School Holiday Workshop, students are expected to:
- Be courteous and respectful to everyone.
- Look after their own safety and respect the safety, wellbeing and property of others.
- Refrain from behaviour that may be perceived as bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination or disruption to others.
- Use TAFE Queensland facilities, equipment and resources appropriately.
- Use computing and online systems responsibly.
- Bring any personal health items required, such as EpiPens or prescribed medication.
Student Misconduct
In the event of serious misconduct, a parent or guardian will be contacted immediately and asked to collect the student from campus as soon as possible.

Attendance and Check‑in
- If a student cannot attend on the day of their workshop, the parent or guardian must contact the TAFE Queensland events team on
0436 411 230.
- If a student has not arrived within 30 minutes of the workshop start time, the parent or guardian will be contacted.
Payments, Refunds and Cancellations
- Payment is required at the time of booking and must be made by credit card.
- TAFE Queensland assesses all refund and cancellation requests.
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to events.brisbane@tafeqld.edu.au and will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis. Supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate, is required.
- After ticket sales close at 11.30pm (AEST) Tuesday 16 June 2026, general refund or cancellation requests will not be accepted unless supporting documentation is provided.
- Approval of refunds is at the discretion of TAFE Queensland.
Photography and Videography
Photography and videography may be conducted during School Holiday Workshops. Images and footage may be used internally and externally for the purpose of sharing with peers and promoting future TAFE Queensland events and activities. If you do not wish for the student’s image to be used, you must notify a TAFE Queensland staff member on the day of the workshop.
Terms and Conditions Agreement
